DOUGLASVILLE, Georgia — Authorities say one person was killed and six others injured in a crash that shut down Interstate 20 west of Atlanta for several hours.
Police say the wreck happened when a Dodge Durango overturned shortly after 3 p.m. Sunday near the Lee Road exit in Douglas County.
Police said four people with serious injuries were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital and two others were taking to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston.
Police tells WSB-TV (http://bit.ly/1sbKH39) that eight people were in the car at the time of the crash. The driver was not hurt.
