SIOUX FALLS, South Dakota — Police in Sioux Falls say the victims of a two-vehicle crash were brothers.

Authorities have identified the victims as 71-year-old Richard Krenke and 76-year-old John Krenke, both of Sioux Falls.

Police say the pair was traveling in a 1994 Geo Metro that was struck on the passenger's side when it entered an intersection around 7:20 p.m. Friday.

The brothers were pronounced dead at the scene. Police say neither speed nor alcohol appear to be factors in the crash.

The 2013 Hyundai Sonata that struck the Geo was occupied by two people. One of the occupants was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
