DECATUR, Alabama — The third defendant convicted in a fatal double shooting at a Krystal restaurant in Decatur has been given two life prison sentences.

Ezekiel Marquez Gholston was sentenced Monday for his role in the deaths of 49-year-old Jeffrey Graff and 23-year-old Jessie Aguilar during an armed robbery.

The 23-year-old Gholston was convicted in February and his accomplices Jordaan Creque and Cassandra Eldred have already been sentenced for their roles in the slayings. Creque was sentenced to death and Eldred was given a life sentence.
