    SAN ANTONIO — Denzel Livingston scored 23 points, pulled down 10 rebounds, and added six assists and four steal to lead Incarnate Word to a 85-68 win over St. Edwards on Thursday night.

    Every starter finished in double-figures for the Cardinals (5-0), with Traylin Farris adding 15 points, Jontrell Walker and Mitchell Badillo finishing with 14 apiece, and Shawn Johnson scoring 12.

    Overall Incarnate Word shot 47 percent from the field and dished out 18 total assists as a team compared to just nine for St. Edwards.

    The Hilltoppers were led by Harley Nussman and Frankie Mgbolu, each scoring 16 points respectively. Trey Lindsey finished with 14 points for St. Edwards.

    The Cardinals led by just three at the break, but opened the second half on a 13-3 run to extend their lead to double digits.
