Houma police: Fight leaves 1 man died, 3 others injured; no motive or suspect in custody


HOUMA, Louisiana — Houma police are investigating a fight that left one man died and three others injured.

Police tells The Courier (http://bit.ly/1GMbbou) officers responded to a call about shots fired Wednesday afternoon and found 18-year-old Corey Butler on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to a nearby medical facility, where he was pronounced dead,

Police say a 19-year-old man was shot in the shoulder, a 24-year-old man was shot several times and a 25-year-old man shot in the face. Another man managed to escape without being injured.

Detectives are interviewing witnesses to piece together what happened.
