PORTLAND, Oregon — Police identified a man killed in North Portland as 19-year-old Dalton Marshall of Vancouver, Washington.

Sgt. Pete Simpson of the Portland Police Bureau says homicide detectives think the young man had been socializing along North Interstate Avenue in the hours before his death.

Officers were dispatched at 2 a.m. Thursday on a report that a man was down on a street, unconscious and bleeding.

When they arrived, he was dead. Simpson says the victim suffered at least one gunshot wound.

No arrests have been made and Simpson says there is no known motive.

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to a conviction.
