JANESVILLE, Wisconsin — A 30-year-old Wisconsin man convicted of hiding and burning a body in his backyard has been ordered to pay restitution to the victim's mother.

The Janesville Gazette (http://bit.ly/1Bz7A6v ) reports Nathan Middleton of Evansville will pay $7,060 in funeral expenses plus $16,560 in lost wages. Middleton was sentenced in June to more than 22 years in prison for burning the corpse of 18-year-old Aprina Paul of Fitchburg last October.

Alice Larrue said she left her job at Target last fall to search for her missing daughter. She requested $720 for every two weeks of lost wages.

According to a criminal complaint, Middleton said he found Paul dead in his bed after having sex and doing drugs with her the previous night. The complaint said they met after Paul responded to Middleton's ad on Craigslist.
