Zack Welch and Levon Chaney each finished with rushing scores and Chaney added a touchdown through the air, a 64-yard strike on a halfback pass to Ugo Ezemma on the second offensive play of the game.
A 41-yard Bryan Maley field goal put Wagner (0-2) on the board early in the second quarter and cut the Hawks lead to 7-3. That was as close as the Seahawks got, however as Monmouth reeled off 21 unanswered points to take a commanding lead.
