ELOY, Arizona — Authorities say human remains found in the desert have been identified as those of a missing 21-year-old Eloy woman.

Eloy police told Phoenix TV station KTVK that an autopsy done Wednesday by the Pima County Medical Examiner's Office positively identified the decomposed remains as Susan Danielle Ronquillo.

Police say she was last seen on July 11 and her friends reported her missing eight days later.

Police say they had received information that Ronquillo may have been murdered and detectives recently located remains in a remote desert area.

Police say a 33-year-old man from the Eloy area is facing charges in connection with Ronquillo's disappearance and more arrests in the case are expected.
