CASPER, Wyoming — A 42-year-old Casper man accused of sexually abusing two children has been sentenced to 15 to 20 years in prison.

The Casper Star-Tribune reports ( ) Francis Eckman, who was sentenced Wednesday, entered an Alford plea in August to two counts of second-degree sexual abuse of a minor. That means he does not admit the crimes but acknowledges prosecutors have enough evidence to convince a jury he is guilty.

Investigators say the children's mother reported the abuse in May after one of her friends found sexually explicit messages involving the children on Eckman's Facebook page.

Eckman was accused of sexually abusing the boy and girl from 2010 to 2013. The children were between the ages of 13 and 15 at the time.
