3 injured in shooting outside Nashville nightclub; police searching for 2 suspects

NASHVILLE, Tennessee — Metro Nashville Police say they are searching for two suspects who witnesses said shot three people outside a nightclub.

Lt. Danny S. Haley told media that officers were notified after three people arrived at Vanderbilt University Medical Center Friday morning suffering from gunshot wounds. They told officers that they were leaving the nightclub when two men approached and demanded money. They said one man began firing into the car when they said they didn't have any.

The victims are expected to recover.

Police say they think the suspects stole a white Chevy pickup truck after the shooting. They say that vehicle has been reported as being involved in several attempted robberies.

Anyone with information about the shooting or the attempted robberies is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.
