GREEN BAY, Wisconsin — Students at a Green Bay high school damaged by fire are expected to begin the new school year next Monday.
A look inside Preble High School shows there's still some cleaning work to be done, but school district leaders say it will be ready by Monday. From ceiling tiles to light bulbs, many things in the school had to be replaced. Irreplaceable items, like championship plaques, were cleaned by hand.
WLUK-TV (http://bit.ly/1uhVHzx ) reports school officials say the goal is to be able to use the gym by Nov. 25. That's where last month's fire originated. Rags used to resurface the gym floor were put in a plastic garbage can and combusted.
