LAKE CHARLES, Louisiana — A former Calcasieu Parish first assistant district attorney has pleaded guilty in state district court to malfeasance and simple battery.

The American Press reports ( Judge H. Ward Fontenot sentenced Ronnie Rossitto Wednesday to a two-year suspended sentence and two years' probation.
