Creve Coeur man identified as victim in St. Louis fatal shooting; year's 136th homicide victim

ST. LOUIS — A man who was found fatally shot in south St. Louis has been identified.

The victim has been identified as 23-year-old James Gould of Creve Coeur. According to police, he was shot multiple times around 1 a.m. Thursday while trying to buy drugs from two men.

Police say he was transported to a hospital, where he died. This brings St. Louis' homicide count to 136 for the year.

No arrests have been made in the case.
