Glencoe man killed when motorcycle crashes on Highway 51 near Stillwater

STILLWATER, Oklahoma — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a Glencoe man was killed when the motorcycle he was riding crashed on Highway 51 just east of Stillwater.

An OHP report says 49-year-old Jimmy Ross was dead at the scene of the crash shortly before 9 p.m. Saturday.

The report says Ross was westbound on the highway when he went off the roadway and was thrown nearly 40 feet from the motorcycle. The report says Ross was not wearing a helmet and suffered head and internal injuries.
