North Dakota hosting delegation from Shandong, China at annual Big Iron agribusiness expo

WEST FARGO, North Dakota — A delegation from the Chinese province of Shandong is visiting North Dakota this week.

The North Dakota Trade Office says Lt. Gov. Drew Wrigley welcomed the delegation on Tuesday at the Big Iron Farm Show at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds in West Fargo.

Officials say about 75 people from 14 countries are taking part in the Big Iron International Visitor's Program, which is aimed at helping agribusinesses expand sales abroad.

Officials say it's the first visit of Shandong government officials to North Dakota since the establishment of the sister-state relationship last year.

Shandong is a coastal province, located in the East China region.
