OCEAN SPRINGS, Mississippi — Ocean Spring police say four people have been arrested after a 3-year-old boy called 911, saying he couldn't wake up his mother.

Police tell The Sun Herald (http://bit.ly/1AeSZNu) they found the mother, child and three men in a motel room along with some illegal drugs.

Police say the child's mother, 26-year-old Ashley Nicole McDaniel, was charged with child neglect and possession of marijuana. The men, Timothy Fairbanks and Kristopher Wales, were charged with a possession of controlled substance and Dustin yates was charged with possession of paraphernalia.

All four were booked at the Ocean Springs jail. The child was placed into the custody of the Department of Human Services.

It was unclear whether those arrested have attorneys.
