CLAREMONT, New Hampshire — New Hampshire authorities have been searching on land and in the Connecticut River for a man who's been missing since Friday night.
Claremont police said they responded to a domestic violence incident that night. They said 26-year-old Nick Washburn was a suspect, but he left before they arrived.
A short time later, there was an accident on the Main Street Bridge. The vehicle was identified as Washburn's, but he wasn't there.
Wasburn's mother, Joann Davis, tells the Eagle Times (http://bit.ly/1OBobgw) she thinks she was on the phone with him at the time. She said he was panicking; his phone and wallet were left in the car.
The 6-foot-3, 180-pound Davis has short brown hair and hazel eyes. He was wearing black shorts, red and black shoes, and a red shirt.
