COURTENAY, North Dakota — A weekend accident at a farm in Stutsman County killed an 80-year-old man.

Sheriff's Deputy Jason Falk says emergency officials were called to the farm east of Courtenay on Sunday evening, and found the man dead. Authorities did not immediately identify him.

Falk says the man had been run over by a chemical cart being pulled behind a planter. The machinery was being operated by a member of the man's family. No foul play is suspected.
