Ibrahimovic scores 2 as Paris Saint-Germain beats Lyon 3-0 to reach the quarterfinals of the French Cup, remaining on course for another domestic treble

PARIS — Paris Saint-Germain beat Lyon 3-0 to reach the French Cup quarterfinals on Wednesday and remain on course to repeat its domestic treble of last season.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who scored two second-half goals, will be out of contract at the end of the season and was waiting on a new deal — despite playing some of the best football of his career. He has 27 goals this season, and 133 in 160 games since joining PSG four years ago.

His first goal was typically spectacular, if unorthodox, as he chested in a cross from the left. Four minutes later, he finished from close range after latching onto a cross from the right.

Midfielder Adrien Rabiot got the third goal, although he was well offside.
