FULLERTON, California — Authorities have identified the driver killed when a big-rig truck crashed on an Orange County freeway, causing an 11-vehicle pileup.

City News Service says 28-year-old Eric McEntarffer of Fontana was in a Honda. He died at the scene of Wednesday night's crash in Fullerton that injured five other people.

The California Highway Patrol says a big-rig blew a tire and overturned on State Route 57, causing the accidents, while the forklift it was carrying tore loose and smashed into some cars.

The crash closed down most lanes overnight. They reopened shortly after 10 a.m. Thursday.
