BALTIMORE — Baltimore officials and community members gathered to unveil a street sign honoring the memory of a three-year-old who was fatally shot last year.

A sign denoting McKenzie Elliott Way was unveiled Sunday at the corner of Old York Road and McKewin Avenue in Baltimore's Waverly neighborhood during a day of remembrance for the child, who was struck by a stray bullet while she was standing on her porch in August.

Police Commissioner Anthony Batts, State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby and Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake were among those who spoke during the ceremony.

Police are still searching for suspects in connection to Elliott's murder. Metro Crime Stoppers is offering a $7,800 reward for information.
