10 North Dakota airports get $3.2 million in federal funding for runway, other improvements


BISMARCK, North Dakota — North Dakota's congressional delegation says 10 North Dakota airports will share more than $3.2 million in federal money for runway and other improvements.

The funds come from the U.S. Department of Transportation.

Grand Forks International Airport is getting the bulk of the funding at more than $732,000. The funds are to be used to update the airport's master plan.

Other airports getting money are Bismarck, Bottineau, Hillsboro, Cooperstown, Wahpeton, Minot, Langdon, Park River and Harvey.
