BISMARCK, North Dakota — North Dakota's Agriculture Department is seeking grant proposals for honeybee research.
Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring says up to $75,000 is available this year to fund research into practical solutions to honeybee health issues such as colony collapse disorder.
He says state lawmakers made the money available to address the increasing seriousness of bee diseases and parasites.
The deadline to apply is Sept. 15. Funded research projects must be completed by the end of June 2017.
