WASHINGTON — A series of exhibits and programs is being planned for this year's FotoWeek DC festival, along with photographic projections on the outside of the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum.
Organizers have announced the annual FotoWeek festival will be held Nov. 7 to Nov. 15. The FotoWeek Central exhibition "Aperture: Photographs" will be hosted at the former residence of the Spanish ambassador in Washington.
Headlining events will include a new exhibit at the National Geographic Museum called "Photo Ark," a panel discussion at the National Gallery of Art with photographer Myra Greene and images of persecuted minorities in Iraq projected at the Holocaust museum.
At George Washington's Mount Vernon, a 3D photography exhibit will show how the estate appeared in the 1800s.
More events will be announced later.
