FORT WORTH, Texas — A North Texas man has been sentenced to 30 years in federal prison in a child pornography case.

A federal prosecutor said Monday that 40-year-old Christopher Weast was sentenced last week. A jury in July convicted him of possessing and receiving child pornography.

A Fort Worth Police Department undercover officer downloaded pornography from Weast in June 2012. Officers say he had numerous child pornography files on his computer and an external hard drive.
