ROCHESTER, New York — Police are investigating a weekend shooting in Rochester that left one man dead and another hospitalized.
Officials say the gunfire broke out early Sunday morning on a street in southwest Rochester. When officers arrived they found two men who had been shot in the upper torso.
Authorities say a 20-year-old from Rochester was pronounced dead at Strong Memorial Hospital soon after being rushed there. Police say the other man is 23 years old. He's recovering from non-life-threatening injuries.
The victims' names haven't been released.
