Injuries sideline Steelers wide receivers Lance Moore, Martavis Bryant for opener

PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Steelers will be without wide receivers Lance Moore and Martavis Bryant for Sunday's opener against Cleveland.

Moore is inactive with a groin injury, while Bryant will sit with a sprained shoulder. Second-year wide receiver Justin Brown will serve as Pittsburgh's third receiver behind Antonio Brown and Markus Wheaton.

The Steelers also have made CB Brice McCain, OL Wesley Johnson, G Chris Hubbard, DL Daniel McCullers and QB Landry Jones inactive.

The Browns will be thin along the offensive and defensive lines. Backup defensive linemen Desmond Bryant and John Hughes are both inactive. Bryant is recovering from wrist surgery, Hughes is dealing with a hamstring issue.

Cleveland reserve offensive lineman Paul McQuistan is inactive because of an injured ankle. DB Pierre Desir, RB Glenn Winston, RB Robert Nelson and LB Eric Martin are also inactive.
