Police: Teen ejected, killed when car strikes SUV on Long Island


CENTRAL ISLIP, New York — Police say a teenager has been ejected and killed in a crash on Long Island.

Newsday reports (http://nwsdy.li/1Lx4d24 ) the crash happened Monday just before 7 p.m. in Central Islip.

Authorities say 17-year-old Anthony Fucci lost control of a Honda Civic and struck a sport utility vehicle. The Central Islip teen was thrown from the Honda and taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The 33-year-old driver of the SUV and his two young sons were also taken to a hospital and treated for minor injuries.
