ATHENS, Greece — Veteran Costas Katsouranis scored twice against his old club to lead Atromitos to a 2-0 home victory over Panathinaikos in the sixth and final round of the Greek league playoffs.

The loss was of no consequence to Panathinaikos, which had already won the playoffs to clinch a second Champions League spot alongside league champion Olympiakos. Panathinaikos finished the six-game playoffs five points ahead of Asteras, which beat PAOK 1-0 Sunday. Atromitos finished two points further behind.

The playoffs were held among the teams that finished second to fifth in the regular season. The other three will take part in next season's Europa League, with Asteras starting in the group stage, Atromitos in the third qualifying round and PAOK in the second.
