CARRABASSET VALLEY, Maine — The National Alpine Championships are continuing with the men's giant slalom and a weather-delayed opening ceremony in Maine.

The ceremony Friday evening features a parade of athletes and fireworks at Sugarloaf in Carrabassett Valley.

Racing continues Saturday with the women's slalom featuring Sochi gold medal winner Mikaela Shiffrin and wraps up Sunday with the men's slalom.

Winners so far include newcomer Drew Duffy and Alice McKennis in the super G on Wednesday. Seventeen-year-old Nina O'Brien earned the women's giant slalom title on Thursday.
