NORTHFIELD, Vermont — Vermont's Norwich University is going to be hosting a lecture on the ways design can influence social change.
The March 7 lecture on the Northfield campus is being sponsored by the Norwich School of Architecture and Design.
The talk will be given by Elizabeth Hermann, Silvia Acosta and Daniel Feldman — the founding partners of DESINE Lab at the Rhode Island School of Design. The lecture is titled "Design in the Context of Communities at Risk."
Norwich assistant professor of architecture Tolya Stonorov says the lecture will address the relevant and important issues of how architecture can affect social and cultural challenges.
The 4 p.m. event in Chaplin Hall Gallery is free and open to the public.
