Pilot escapes with minor injuries when small plane crashes in central Ohio corn field


HEBRON, Ohio — A pilot escaped with minor injuries after he crashed his small plane into a central Ohio corn field.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says the one-seat plane crash landed in the field near Hebron (HEE'-bruhn) at about 4 p.m. Monday. There were no passengers and no one else was hurt.

The cause of the crash is being investigated. Hebron is in Licking County, about 30 miles east of Columbus.
