GUILDERLAND, New York — A highway worker has died after he was struck by a compactor truck in upstate New York.
The accident happened Friday afternoon in Guilderland, west of Albany.
The Times Union of Albany reports (http://bit.ly/1ApNWNL ) that 54-year-old Sean McCutcheon was riding on a Guilderland Highway Department compactor truck picking up debris.
Police tell the Times Union that McCutcheon fell and the truck backed into him.
McCutcheon was taken to Albany Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
