PINEHURST, Idaho — A wrong-way driver has died in a head-on collision on Interstate 90 in northern Idaho near Pinehurst.

Idaho State Police say 86-year-old Phyllis B. Craddick of Pinehurst died at the scene Sunday evening after driving her 2001 Ford Focus east in the westbound lanes of the highway.

Police say she collided with a 17-year-old girl of Kingston driving a 2014 Subaru Crosstrek. Police say the girl was taken to Shoshone Medical Center in Kellogg.

A hospital spokeswoman says the girl was treated and released.
