THIBODAUX, Louisiana — The Lafourche Parish District Attorney's Office says a trial date has been set for a man charged in connection with a double homicide last September in Thibodaux,

The jury trial for 20-year-old Alfred Starks, of Thibodaux, is scheduled for Dec. 2.

Starks was arrested following the shooting deaths of 19-year-old Tre Scott and 26-year-old Jordy Williams. He was charged with two counts of second-degree murder.

The Courier reports (http://bit.ly/1q2A1o9 ) the victims were found dead inside a car parked near Thibodaux Elementary School.

Starks is also charged with aggravated assault with a firearm and illegal discharge of a weapon for a separate incident.
