SHREVEPORT, Louisiana — A Many resident has been sentenced to almost 16 years in prison after pleading guilty to possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine in Sabine Parish.
The U.S. Attorney's Office says 32-year-old Cassius L. Medlock was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Elizabeth E. Foote in Shreveport on Monday.
The Town-Talk reports (http://townta.lk/1x9mvRA ) that Medlock had been stopped for speeding in August 2014, and officers found more than 193 grams of cocaine base and marijuana in the vehicle he was driving. The car also had six children in it, according to the release.
Medlock pleaded guilty in November.
