Body recovered from South Platte River in Waterton Canyon

CASTLE ROCK, Colorado — Rescue crews have pulled a body from the South Platte River in Waterton Canyon.

The body was found about three miles from the mouth of the canyon Saturday afternoon.

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office is investigating to determine whether the person drowned in the river.

No details have been released on the victim.
