MEDFORD, Oregon — A witness has given Medford police the description of a man who might be responsible for a string of arsons in the southern Oregon city.
The Mail Tribune reports (http://is.gd/WQ6y0N ) a witness reported seeing a man crouching down in the area where a small fire sprang up Wednesday.
Police said he is 5-foot-11, with a thin build and shoulder-length hair. He was wearing a dark beanie, brown T-shirt and dark jeans.
The arson spree includes 19 suspicious fires in the past month. It started with warehouse fire that leveled a historic fruit-packing plant. Most of the blazes have been put out before doing much damage.
