The Montana Highway Patrol said Khan's eastbound semi veered into the westbound lane and collided head-on with McFerrin's pickup Monday night.

District Judge James Reynolds reduced Khan's bail from $200,000 to $100,000. Court officials say Khan, who is from Pakistan, must turn in his passport before being able to post bond. Reynolds scheduled a jury trial for Oct. 6.
