BATON ROUGE, Louisiana — An Indiana fugitive wanted for numerous violent offenses has been captured in Baton Rouge.

Attorney General Buddy Caldwell's office says agents with their Fugitive Apprehension Unit found 22-year-old Ira Lee Brown III, of Indianapolis, Indiana, at a home in Baton Rouge late Friday.

Brown was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison, where he remained in custody Monday pending extradition.

An arrest warrant for Brown was issued by the Madison County, Indiana Sheriff's Office on Sept. 18 for two counts of armed robbery and one count each of criminal confinement with a deadly weapon and intimidation where threat is to commit a forcible felony.
