TUCSON, Arizona — A suspect now is in custody in connection with a fatal shooting at a Tucson apartment complex earlier this week.

Tucson police announced Friday that 19-year-old Micah Morgan has been booked into the Pima County Jail on suspicion of manslaughter.

Detectives obtained a felony arrest warrant for Morgan on Tuesday and U.S. Marshals located him on Tucson's east side on Thursday.

It was unclear Friday if Morgan has a lawyer yet.

Police say 21-year-old Herschel Watkins III was found on the floor of an apartment unit with gunshot wounds early Tuesday and he died at the scene.

Police say several people were inside the apartment when the shooting took place.

They say it appeared everyone knew each other at the apartment and the shooting wasn't a random act of violence.
