BEALLSVILLE, Maryland — Montgomery County Police say a driver was killed and two other drivers were hurt in a crash in Beallsville.

It happened about 7:40 a.m. Monday on Darnestown Road. Officers say 19-year-old Kenneth Turner Bynaker Jr. of Rockville was driving a pickup truck west when the vehicle crossed into the eastbound lane.

Authorities say the truck crashed head-on into a car driven by 34-year-old Amy Burdette Riggs of Adamstown.

Police say the truck rolled over several times and hit a car driven by 49-year-old Christine Marie Goldstein of Frederick.

Detectives say Riggs died at a local hospital. Bynaker was hospitalized with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, and Goldstein suffered minor injuries.

The crash is under investigation.
