FERNVILLE, Pennsylvania — Authorities say one person was found dead after an early morning fire in a central Pennsylvania home over the weekend.

The (Bloomsburg) Press Enterprise ( ) reports that fire crews in Columbia County were called to a Fernville home at about 4 a.m. Sunday in Fernville.

Fire crews fought the blaze for about two hours and later found the body of a man in a second-floor bedroom.

An autopsy is scheduled to determine the cause of death. The fire remains under investigation.
