ROSEMONT, Illinois — Epiphanny Prince scored a season-high 30 points in a memorable return to her old home court as the conference-leading New York Liberty defeated the Chicago Sky 77-63 on Friday night.

The victory by New York (14-6) dropped Chicago two games behind in the Eastern Conference.

Prince, who played four seasons for Chicago, was traded in February for Cappie Poindexter. She missed the Liberty's first game in Chicago in June as she was returning from playing overseas for Russia. On Friday she made 11 of her 14 shots, including four 3-pointers to spark New York.

Holding a 21-19 lead after a quarter, New York outscored Chicago 21-13 in the second to take control.

Elena Delle Donne led the Sky (13-9) with 17 points and Courtney Vandersloot added 13. Poindexter had 12 on 2 of 13 shooting.
