Officials say Winning Powerball ticket worth $144 million sold in Middle Tennessee


NASHVILLE, Tennessee — Officials say a winning Powerball ticket worth $144 million has been sold in Middle Tennessee.

Tennessee Lottery officials say the ticket was purchased at a retailer in Nashville, but information about the winner won't be known until the prize is claimed.

Officials say it is the second-largest Tennessee lottery prize and the fourth Powerball jackpot in the state.

The winning numbers in Wednesday night's drawing were 2-12-17-20-65 and a Powerball of 17.
