Gunfire in West Philadelphia wounds 3 people in separate shootings


PHILADELPHIA — Three people were wounded in two separate shootings in West Philadelphia.

Police say a 23-year-old man was shot in the thigh while walking near the intersection of 55th and Walton Street around 12:15 a.m. Thursday.

He's in stable condition.

Meanwhile, two men are in stable condition after they were shot during a robbery around 11:45 p.m. Wednesday near the intersection of 54th and Walnut streets.

Police say one man was shot in the leg and the other was shot in the finger.

No arrests have been made.
