Man shot to death after argument with another man in Rowan County

WOODLEAF, North Carolina — Rowan County sheriff's deputies are investigating the shooting death of a man in Woodleaf.

Deputies said 38-year-old Kerry Gray died Sunday afternoon after he had been shot several times in the driveway of his home.

Deputies say Gray argued with 23-year-old Destin Lamar Sloan of Woodleaf before the shooting. Sloan has been arrested and charged with murder and several drug charges.

It was not clear if Sloan has an attorney.

Deputies have not said what the men were arguing about.
