PORTLAND, Oregon — Police say a 19-year-old man was shot in North Portland.

Sgt. Pete Simpson says officers responded Thursday at about 2:30 a.m. to a report of multiple gunshots, but did not find a crime scene. A few minutes later, the victim called 9-1-1 to report he had been shot.

Simpson says the victim was taken to the hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening. Simpson says the young man wasn't forthcoming with information about who shot him, and no arrests have been made.
