HONOLULU — Honolulu police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a man in Pacific Palisades.
Police say officers found a 36-year-old man with stab wounds at the Pacific Palisades home early Saturday. He was later taken to a hospital, where he died.
A 19-year-old suspect was arrested at the home on suspicion of second-degree murder.
Filo Tu owns the home where the stabbing happened. He told the Honolulu Star-Advertiser (http://ow.ly/HUjg5 ) the victim is his adopted brother, Frank Kapesi.
Tu says he wasn't there when it happened, but that the suspect is his nephew.
Tu says Kapesi is actually his brother's son, but their father adopted him and brought him to Hawaii from American Samoa.
